In April 2025, I had the opportunity to DJ for one of the most unique and creatively charged pole competitions I’ve worked on, hosted at Coastal Creative.

The event brought together over 600 attendees and featured performers from around the world, including dancers who traveled from as far as Ireland! The atmosphere was intense and immersive, with a strong visual identity and performances that pushed creative and emotional boundaries surrounding the theme of feminine rage and revenge.

Vibe Curation and Expert timing:

For this event, I built a custom set blending industrial pop, metal, and what I call dark feminist fairy pop. The goal was to create a soundscape that felt textured, atmospheric, and emotionally resonant.

Each performer had a specific track tailored to their routine, and the timing had to be exact. I was responsible for making sure every transition aligned with their movements, right from the first touch on the pole. Between acts, I kept the energy steady with background tracks that supported the tone of the evening.

The Competition:

This event sells out year after year, and it’s clear why! The level of professionalism and creativity from the dancers, organizers, and production team is exceptional. It was genuinely so cool to be involved as a vital part of the evening.
